REPAIR AUTHORIZATION, DISCLAIMER & LIMITED WARRANTY By signing below, I authorize the above repairs and grant permission to operate my vehicle for testing and inspection. An express mechanic’s lien is acknowledged to secure payment for all repairs and charges. All removed parts will be discarded unless saving parts is requested in writing before the job is started. The shop is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or personal property due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause. All estimates are subject to change due to additional parts, labor, or unforeseen conditions. STORAGE & ABANDONED VEHICLES Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days after notification of completion. Vehicles left beyond this period are subject to a $10 per day storage fee. Unpaid or unclaimed vehicles may be considered abandoned and processed under Idaho Code §49-1806, including possible lien sale. LIMITED WARRANTY This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Shop-supplied new parts: 24 months / 24,000 miles Dealer-supplied OEM parts: 12 months / 12,000 miles Used / recycled parts: 90 days Labor: Covered only when the related warrantable part is replaced Warranty repairs must be performed at our shop and shall not exceed the original cost of the repair. All warranty claims must be reported within 5 business days of failure. Full payment is required for warranty to apply. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty on parts or labor. If such parts fail or are incorrect, all diagnostics, removal, and reinstallation labor will be charged. Customer agrees to hold the shop harmless for any damages caused by customer-supplied parts. ELECTRICAL / ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS No warranty is expressed or implied on electrical or electronic components, including modules, sensors, wiring, computers, actuators, or software-related concerns. Intermittent or no-fault-found electrical issues are not covered. Failures caused by power surges, voltage irregularities, water intrusion, or aftermarket equipment are excluded. CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS This warranty does not cover abuse, neglect, misuse, accidents, overheating, modifications, aftermarket equipment, pre-existing conditions, or failures of related components not originally replaced. Towing, teardown, diagnostic, and reassembly charges are the customer’s responsibility. Incidental and consequential damages are excluded. Any dispute shall be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho and venue shall be in the county where repairs were performed. Electronic, text, and email authorizations are legally binding.
